Our Educational Services Division provides advanced training in leadership skills with a special emphasis on coaching and mentoring.

The BeamPines/Middlesex University Master’s Program in Executive Coaching is the first graduate program in the United States to offer an advanced degree in Executive Coaching. The program leverages BeamPines' 25+ years of experience and establishes a higher level of standards, training and credentialing for the field. The program is part of an international consortium of Centers of Excellence in Executive Coaching.
The BeamPines/Middlesex Master's Program is designed for experienced Line and Human Resources executives who want to take their coaching skills and knowledge to the next level. Middlesex University professors and Master Executive Coaches from BeamPines give intensive one-on-one coaching to each candidate. Training is hands-on with a focus on applying coaching skills to work with real clients and on significant projects in candidates' organization.
The Program is individualized and designed to fit the daily routines of executives and their sponsor organizations. While rigorous, it does not require candidates to interrupt their careers to earn the degree. The final thesis, based on a sponsor-approved project, demonstrates how the candidate's research and learning has significantly impacted the performance of the sponsor organization. Middlesex University, upon reviewing and approving the thesis, awards candidates the Master's degree.
Benefits for Executive Candidates and their Sponsor Organizations
- Sponsors get highly trained internal coaches who can immediately develop key executives in the company
- Candidates do not have to leave their jobs to undergo training, facilitating the transfer of learning

- Thesis projects prove ROI and performance impact for sponsor organizations

Leadership Development
Coaching and Mentoring
Building off the models of leadership and coaching we developed in our Master's Program, we offer focused training for senior HR and Line executives. Many executives are not able to commit a full year for the Master's Program, but want to develop their skills in order to provide coaching for their colleagues.
A number of our clients have also realized that the success of their internal mentoring programs depends on their executives having strong coaching and mentoring skills. Many mentoring programs flounder because the assigned mentors do not understand the role or have the necessary skills. BeamPines’ focused mentoring training can make a dramatic impact on such programs.

Group Coaching - The Executive Forum
The BeamPines Executive Forum is a unique action-learning model for coaching executives in groups. The model is a cost-effective and powerful way to foster executive learning and development.
The Forum brings together a select group of 8-12 senior and high potential executives to develop critical management and leaderships skills. The group generally meets once each month but can meet more frequently. A Master Coach facilitates sessions, presents skills/techniques and arranges for outside consultants to focus on specific skill development areas.
The Forum begins with structured sessions focused on the developmental needs of participants. For example, communications, negotiations and effective delegation are common themes. In addition, initial Forum sessions develop a common language regarding relationships at work and the implications that has for leadership and teamwork. Once fundamental skills have been developed, the Forum becomes a place where participants practice skills, raise their self-awareness and use case examples to solve current business problems. Participants are able to bring in current situations and challenges in order to get feedback and further develop their ability to apply the concepts learned.
