Senior Vice President

Paul is a Senior Human Resources Executive with more than 25 years in diverse leadership positions and a proven track record of combining business needs with highly effective human resource programs. His experience with Pinnacle Foods, International Home Foods, Nabisco, BF Goodrich and Firestone, spans the full spectrum of core talent assessment to executive counseling. Paul brings a wealth of H.R. expertise in acquisition integration and transitioning, organizational design and staffing, labor relations, contract negotiations and compensation and benefits plan design.

Prior to joining BeamPines in 2004, Paul worked with CDM & Company, the exclusive operating partner of Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst, overseeing all of their consumer product investments. Paul was a key member of the senior leadership team that resulted in Hicks Muse realizing a $1.1B gain on an investment of $373M in International Home Foods and Pinnacle Foods.

During his three-year tenure at Pinnacle Foods, Paul designed and staffed an organization that was acquisition ready, leading to a merger with Aurora Foods in 2003. Paul played a lead role in integrating the two companies by closing the Aurora headquarters facility in St. Louis and staffing a headquarters and field sales organization designed to meet the customer needs of the combined companies. Prior to Pinnacle Foods, he was responsible for establishing a growth-oriented culture at International Home Foods. Paul served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, integrating nine acquisitions into the company portfolio.

Paul’s hands-on, high-energy approach has resulted in more effective and streamlined operations at several billion-dollar companies. He has redefined roles and accountability, initiated programs that match managerial strengths to critical positions and has served as chief strategist for union negotiations.

Paul graduated from Thiel College in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He earned a Master of Arts in Industrial Psychology from the University of Akron in 1975, where he also worked as a Graduate Assistant. Paul continued his academic training in 1995, completing the Executive Human Resource Development Program at Cornell University.

Paul lives in Hillsborough, N.J., with his wife and two daughters. Paul is active in the Lutheran Church where he is an Assistant Minister and has served as Council President and Chairperson for the Long Range Planning Committee.
