Paul brings over 20 years of experience in Executive Search, Management Consulting, General Management, and Sales and Marketing to BeamPines. He has a deep understanding of the consumer products industry from both a manufacturer and supplier perspective and has also successfully completed searches in Foodservice, OTC Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Internet/E-Commerce, Healthcare, Industrial Products, Marketing Services, Financial Services and Management Consulting. Paul’s functional specialties include General Management, Marketing, Sales/Business Development, Human Resources, Marketing Research and Client Services.

In addition, Paul is actively involved in the fusion of the BeamPines HR consulting services with the BeamPines talent acquisition practice, C-Prime Recruiting Solutions. BeamPines has been a leader in executive assessment and coaching for over 25 years and, as such, Paul is a strong proponent of the added value benefits of an independent pre-hire assessment process to determine “fit” and expert integration coaching for the successful candidate.

Prior to joining BeamPines, Paul was the President of a nationally recognized retained executive search firm, O’Keefe & Associates, headquartered in Southport, Connecticut. In his eight years at the firm, Paul completed more than 100 searches for a diverse set of clients ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations.

Paul also spent seven years with a leading management consulting firm, Neo Inc., which specialized in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of sales organizations. As Group Vice President & COO, Paul was responsible for overall client management and ran the firm’s four divisions – Research, Organizational Strategy & Design, Customer Marketing/Category Management, and Training & Development. He also played a key role in the negotiation and sale of Neo to Information Resources Inc. in 1994.

From 1984 to 1988, Paul worked in the market research industry for The Majers Corporation and Sami-Burke. Early in his career, Paul received classical training in sales management and brand management with Johnson & Johnson and Nestle Foods.

Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & History from Colgate University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame where he majored in Marketing. He is active in career counseling to Colgate and Notre Dame undergraduates and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
