Director, Leadership and Team Development
As a member of BeamPines, Lisa supports the design and delivery of leadership and team development programs for senior level executives. She also provides comprehensive assessments to assist companies through the process of selecting leaders. Clients she has worked with include Comcast, Highlights for Kids, Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Troy Corporation. As a result of her training and consulting experiences, she places an emphasis on the importance of understanding the role organizational culture and environmental factors play in shaping interpersonal and group dynamics. She believes that being approachable, responsible and candid is the key to developing effective relationships with clients.
Prior to joining BeamPines, Lisa worked for the operations department of a worldwide medical devices company where she provided change management support to new and ongoing initiatives. Throughout her career she has served as both an internal and external consultant providing needs assessments, organizational diagnoses, team development, and program planning and evaluation services to Fortune 100, higher education, and non-profit organizations. Lisa also serves as an Adjunct Professor for St. Thomas University’s School of Leadership Studies where she teaches online in both the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.
Lisa holds a Psy.D. in Organizational Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She has also earned an M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, and an Honours B.A. from the University of Windsor in Canada.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys training for half-marathons, canoeing, skiing and traveling to Toronto to spend time with family and friends. She has also recently reconnected with her interests in learning French and playing classical guitar.
